Hotel Reine Mathilde

Staff and location are good, I loved staying here. Certainly a really enjoyable experience for celebrating anniversary in Bayeux.

The hotel was an excellent home base for enjoying a historic area, next to the cathedral, the centre of Bayeux and restaurants, the cathedral and the Tapestry. Fruit, yogurt and scrambled eggs were served for breakfast in the restaurant.

I liked that the hotel was magical and clean. The location was brilliant, not very far from a Roman Catholic church. Great food in the attached restaurant in the vicinity.

Nice experience there. I liked spending my time in this overall clean small hotel. The buffet breakfast included fruit, yogurt and scrambled eggs, but I were in a hurry and didn't try all the menu.

Fantastic little hotel, reasonably clean, caring staff and the beds were extremely comfy. Very central location was a plus.

Wi-Fi was rather slow, made me a little nervous.

We recommend to stay here - outstanding location and staff. The position is 20 minutes' walk from the train station.

We loved the hotel, it was traditional and had ideal location really close to all shops and tourist attractions and the cathedral.

We enjoyed the efficient location, and the skilled staff. The room was budget and light, the beds were cozy. A good choice of options for breakfast, cheap breads, bakery, fresh fruit and meats. Location adjacent to center, restaurants, British War Cemetery...

Impeccably clean cosy accommodation with best staff and perfect location right in center of town. Well-kept room, fine breakfast options, comfortable beds. A great selection of food in the hotel, attached restaurant. Very good services too!

Wi-Fi was very poor.

Stunningly beautiful place, gorgeous breakfast, well-appointed rooms. Exceptionally comfortable beds and a personal safe, multi-channel TV and a writing desk. I spent some time with hot drinks in the nice outdoor bar.

every detail was fabulous, including staff and location, i really enjoyed how tidy the hotel was.

Appreciated staff and service, they were superb! There were cereals, meats, bread, bakery and fresh fruit in the morning. There was a pool on-site too.

Tasty breakfast, especially pancakes, eggs and bacon, the staff was knowledgeable. Hotel was spotlessly clean. The attached restaurant was small with plenty of meals in the menu. Appealing property, efficient service. In addition, free wifi throughout the property worked flawlessly.

Such a very enjoyable experience. The whole place was fairly clean, I appreciated it, and had magical location and facilities. Charming boutique hotel set in the relaxing area.

We had the buffet breakfast and were satisfied. We stayed in a studio and liked a modern bathroom. It is surely GOOD value.

Short walk to the train and bus stations and walking distance to shops

This hotel is equal to 2 stars. Was in a beautiful area and near restaurants and cafes...

The bed was very small here.
